New Poll: Cricut Cartridges

Hi everyone!

Happy new year 2009! Hope this year is full of blessings and great things for everyone. Today is Thursdays, so it's time to show the results for the last poll and present a new question for this week. The last poll question was "What type of scrapbooker are you?" and the results were:

Feliz año nuevo 2009! Esperamos que este año esté lleno de bendiciones y grandes cosas para todos. Hoy es jueves, por lo que es momento de mostrar los resultados de la última encuesta y presentar una nueva pregunta para esta semana. As you can see, most people consider themself tradional scrapbooker, this is very surprising for me, I thought the hybrid scrapbooker community was increasing pretty fast because many people use their computers for the journaling, sometimes they fix their photos or adjust the sizes digitally, etc. But as you can see, I was wrong, there are still many traditional scrapbooker who love their hand writing and use it for the journaling (which is great because adds more personality to the layouts) and love to do all the embellishments by themself, cutting with scissors and all the fun that scrapbooking involves.

Como puede ver, la mayoría de las personas se consideran scrapbookers tradicionales, esto es muy sorprendente para mí, pensaba que la comunidad de scrapbookers híbridos estaba aumentando muy rápido debido a que muchas personas utilizan sus computadoras para escribir sus sentimientos en las páginas, a veces para arreglar las fotos o ajustar los tamaños digitalmente, Pero como pueden ver, yo estaba equivocada, aún hay muchas scrapbookers que aman su escritura a mano y la utilizan para escribir en sus páginas (que está muy bien, porque añade más personalidad al proyecto) y el amor a hacer todos los adornos por sí mismos , cortar con tijeras y toda la diversión que implica el scrapbooking.

As you can see, most of the people prefer mini-albums. I love them, but the truth is I love practical mini-albums, this means, mini-albums that have enough space for photos and not only for embellishments.

Como puedes ver, la mayoría de las personas prefieren mini-álbumes. A mi me encantan, pero la realidad es que me gustan los mini-álbumes prácticos, esos que tienen suficiente espacio para colocar fotos y no sólo adornos.

I love to do 12" x 12" layouts to preserve memories because they gives me more space to add photos and embellishments, but sometimes I make mini albums as gifts or just for fun, because they look so gorgeous that I can't resist them. For me, the best part of mini albums is you can add lots of photos of a same theme, celebration, person, or others, in one place in just a few hours.

A mi me gusta hacer páginas 12"x12" para preservar las memorias ya que me dan más espacio para añadir fotos y adornos, pero algunas veces hago mini álbumes como regalos o sólo para divertirme porque son tan lindos que no puedo resistirlos. Para mí, la mejor parte de los mini álbumes es que puedes añadir muchas fotos de un mismo tema, celebración, persona u otros en un lugar en sólo un par de horas.

It looks that more people love the double spread layouts. I love both of them, but lately I'm doing more double spread layouts to work with more photos because I want to finish the Disney's Vacation Album this year, I don't know if I can do it, but I'm going to try.

I can't believe it has already gone a week and I haven't uploaded the layouts to the blog, sorry about that, I've been so busy working on some classes I'll be offering. I'll do my best to upload them this weekend.

No puedo creer que ya ha pasado una semana y no he subido las páginas al blog, mis disculpas por eso, he estado muy ocupada trabajando en unas clases que estaré ofreciendo. Haré todo lo posible por subirlas este fin de semana.

I'm glad to know there are more people like me, lol. I love both of them because with the traditional I can cut fabric, felt, chipboard and more, but the electrical gives me lots of possibilities in paper and cardstock at affordable prices (sometimes for free).

Me siento bien al saber que hay más personas como yo, lol. A mi me gustan ambas porque con las tradicionales puedo cortar tela, fieltro, chipboard y más, mientras que las electrónicas me dan muhcas posibilidades de corte en papel a precios muy razonables (a veces hasta gratis).

I'm a big fan of sketches, they makes my life easier, but I don't use them always, sometimes I create my own designs, but the thing is, I use them no matter if is sometimes or always.
