Eskimo Kisses Layouts

Hi!

During Christmas Season I made a lot of layouts at the store for inspiration. Here are some I made using Eskimo Kisses Collection from Basic Grey. This collection is beautiful, you can create a variety of projects with it. The collection sells pretty fast in the store, but if you bought these papers, maybe this layouts can inspire you. Now I have to add the photos and journaling, hopefully this weekend I can do it.

Durante la temporada de Navidad hice muchas páginas para inspiración en la tienda. Aquí les muestro algunas de las que hice usando la colección Eskimo Kisses de Basic Grey. Esa colección es hermosa, puedes crear una gran variedad de proyectos con ella. La colección se vendió muy rápido en la tienda, pero si compraste los papeles, tal vez puedas usar estas páginas como inspiración. Ahora sólo tengo que añadir las fotos y documentación, espero poder terminarlos este fin de semana.

Today I made these layouts for the Christmas crop of a local scrapbook group. Papers are from Crate Paper North Pole Collection. Those papers are so beautiful, I love the colors and designs, also the texture.

"Navidad entre Amigos" Layout

Here is double spread layout I told you I was making. Photos are from a Christmas activity we have each year with our friends. I used a sketch from Page Maps January 2009.

Aquí está la página doble que mencioné estaba haciendo. Las fotos son de una actividad de navidad que tenemos cada año con un grupo de amigos. Usé una plantilla de Page Maps Enero 2009.

Crystal Petals: Peridot by Dress it Up
Alphabets: American Crafts, KI Memories, Cherry Arte

Glitter: Stickles by Ranger
Pen: Uni-Ball, American Crafts

As you can see in the layouts, the chipboard alphabets were painted and then decorated with glitter using Stickles. Also, the stickles was used with the die-cuts. Finally, for the journaling I created a table in Word removing the left and right side borders.

Como puede ver en las páginas, los alfabetos en chipboard fueron pintados y luego decorados con brillo utilizando los Stikles. También se utilizaron para decorar las figuras pre-cortadas. Finalmente, para el texto, creé una tabla en Word y le removí los bordes de los lados izquierdo y derecho.

Mini Album: "Navidad 08"

Hello!

Today I finished a Christmas Mini Album for my daughter using "Life at the Pole" paper collection from Sassafras Lass. Last week, when I started the mini album,I was thinking on making only a few pages, but those papers are so cute that I couldn't stop using and cutting them until I finished the 16 pages of the mini album, I still can't believe it, lol! For the mini album I used 6 patterned papers (one of each style) and I still have a few scraps I'm planing to use in a 12"x12" layout.

Hoy terminé un Mini Album de Navidad para mi hija usando los papeles "Life at the Pole" de Sassafras Lass. La pasada semana, cuando comencé el mini álbum, sólo pensaba hacer algunas páginas, pero esos papeles están tan lindos que no podía parar de usarlos y cortarlos hasta que terminé las 16 páginas del mini álbum, no puedo creerlo aún, lol! Para el mini álbum usé 6 papeles con diseños (uno de cada estilo) y todavía tengo algunos retazos que estoy pensando usar en un página 12"x12".


As you can see, I love to use glitter on my Christmas projects and this one is no exception. Most of the embellishments were cut of the papers, then I used 3D Dots on their back side and border them with Stickles. Also, many of the alphabets were altered with glitter. I admit it, once I started using them, I didn't know how to stop, they are addictive. Now I just need the photos to finish it, but they are in process.


Como puedes ver, me fascina usar brillo en los proyectos de Navidad y este no es la excepción. La mayoría de los adornos fueron cortados de los papeles, luego usé cinta adhesiva 3D en la parte de atrás y los bordié con "Stickles". Además, muchos de los alfabetos fueron alterados con brillo. Lo admito, una vez comienzo a usarlos no sé cómo parar, son adictivos. Ahora sólo necesito las fotos para terminarlo, pero ya están en proceso.

Life at the Pole by Sassafras

Hope you had a beautiful and happy Thanksgiving Day, mine was great and I took lots of photos, hopefully soon I can scrap some of them. I'm working on a Christmas mini-album, so hopefully soon I can share some images with you, I want to finish it this week but I'm working slowly because I had a jaw surgery a week ago and I'm still on recovery. I'm doing pretty well but I have to take good care of myself to recover faster so I can enjoy a good Christmas Dinner because I'm on a liquid diet since the surgery.

Espero que hayas pasado un hermoso y feliz día de Acción de Gracias, el mío estuvo muy bien y tomé muchas fotos así que espero pronto "scrappear" algunas. Estoy trabajando un mini-álbum de Navidad por lo que espro pronto compartir algunas fotos con ustedes, quiero terminarlo esta semana pero estoy trabajando un poco lento ya que tuve una cirugía de la quijada hace una semana y aún estoy en recuperación. Estoy bastante bien pero tengo que cuidarme mucho para recuperarme rápido a ver si puedo disfrutar de una buena cena de Navidad ya que desde la operación estoy en una dieta de líquidos. Bueno, ahora a los productos nuevos. Hoy añadí a la tienda la nueva colección de Sassafras Lass para Navidad llamada "Life at the Pole".
